Well its obvious the people in my faction took advantage of the war bonus and dont care to do anything else besides arties. I decided to run for office because my faction requires close to 200 kills just to reach level 10 and there are NO faction vendors or guards. So when I became commander I put tithe to 50/50 since our faction had NO silver at all. We also own no towns.
Heres my questions, I cannot press merchant options, I assume this is because we currently do not own a town. Or is there another way? I am new to being the commander and want to set up some faction merchants, these are set up in our stronghold correct? Can anyone give me some specifics on placing merchants and guards?
To place vendors you need to own the towns first. You need to hold the sigs in your base for 10 hours with out any one taking them. Once u do that, place them back on the towns and you will own them for 3 days.
After you own them, you need to appoint another person a financial minister for vendors, or a sheriff for guards. You, as the commander, cannot place anything. The merchant option on the Faction stone is for merchant characters who wish to create faction items. I don't believe it is required to be declared a faction merchant to make faction items anymore.. so its pretty much a useless feature.
The merchant option is available to anyone who has scribe, tailoring, or blacksmithing. ...
If you want my opinion. If no one in ur faction is helping.. Turn the silver up to 100% to the player.. farm for a week straight... non stop.. stack up on silver for urself.. And then turn the silver 100% to the faction. So the faction will start to build up silver from all kills.
Now if no one gets ur faction silver, which means no one is participating in fel. (because u get silver for kill ppl and faction monsters in fel) then your gonna have to turn the taxes up on all the towns once u own them. This will earn ur faction (i think) 40k silver a day per town.. so.. 8 towns.. 320k a day if u own all the towns with taxes up. 320k is a lot of silver for one person in a faction.
So.. no ur faction has silver.. u have silver,, and the mooches have to come to fel and out vote u to reset the tithing rate themselves.. This is when u make a red character and camp ur faction stone.. and grief those ****ers into the ground..
This is just what id do.. those ppl are raping the faction system. dont feel bad to make them cry irl.. they deserve it... imho.
