With an event last night on Pacific that gave out EM items I am surprised not to see "A Vial of A Mysterious Substance" not already up for auction/sale.

Maybe there isn't much of a market for a glass of goo?.....
Or maybe the number of events that they are having and the number of items that are being pumped into the market is saturating it to the point that some (10)-(20) items that used to garner very nice prices, just aren't what they used to be?

I already have one from my college years.
I have one for sale. 
I got 2 of the 10, not a bad way to kick off my return after 2 years. They may not have all been looted. One of the ones I got was off a greater poison elemental I never hit that no one bothered to loot. That coupled with the amount of chaos and deaths may have led to some decaying.

I think all the vials where on the considerably enhanced greater poison elementals. I got two as well, finishing off the poison elemental by myself was not fun. I think KAZ didnt figure on the number of Paragon Balrons that would spawn and that caused significant number of casualties.

No...they weren't. Some were also on the undead ghosties too!
One I got was on the Vile Poison Elemental in the circular room, only one of that name I think I saw.

He was surprised that people aren't selling them not that the market is flooded and people don't want them because they do. Although I can understand your unhappiness at the plethora of event items being created.
That sentence reads bitter/unhappy to me. People usually don't talk of markets being saturated, former "very nice" prices, and use the phrase "just aren't what they used to be" in a positive manner. You can understand why it led me to believe you didn't like massive numbers of items being generated.
I have things going on in RL that keep me from pyscho-analyzing posts from strangers in an online gamers forum, but since you made it a point to "pick apart" what I was saying, I'll explain further....
I absolutely love the EM program and support it 100%.
The OP expressed shock that a certain item simply hadn't been up for sale, and I stated an opinion that there were so many items introduced in those numbers, that they are worth less and maybe that's why ppl aren't bothering to sale them here. I actually think this is a positive thing because it gives more people the chance of owning an EM item in THREE WAYS:
a. more drops, a larger chance for a person to snag an item
b more drops, less cost if someone missed the event and still wants said item
c. this inherent lower value make the items "vendor material" and now you can find EM items readily on many shards in your friendly local vendor house and not on a stratics auction (which is what the OP was missing)
I hope this makes my stance clearer for you amateur Freudians out there.

Slickjack: Don't worry it took no more time than simply reading it, this is a discussion thread and I am simply discussing things not picking apart or pyscho-analyzing you. I just read what you wrote as dislike of things being common when it apparently was the opposite and you like the idea of EM items for all. As a rares collector I always liked things that are... well rare.
