In theory, hypothetically, if one were to troll and thus respond to every thread on page one just to get their name showing as last poster, per thread, they could only do so *in theory* by actually responding to said threads each and every one...or ye "friend" would appear to be trolling which is illegal in theory, as opposed to responding per thread.
I have seen it done of course, but the poster whom had responded to every thread so that their name is last name showing per thread on entire page even page two, DID respond even if lame attempt thus not *trolling* per say.
That is not to prevent someone ELSE from doing likewise just to put THEIR name as last poster per thread...just to knock out said hypothetical troller/responder, to then have their own name showing per thread all over here and there..instead of...someone like your friend appearing as last poster ..per thread.
In theory, hypothetically, they too would still have to at least make an actual response, per thread as a poster, rather than merely a *troll*... tis legally I think...quite a fine line there.
So ya may have to tell your friend to sing that old Johnnie Cash song...I walk/tow the line ...before he/she hypothetically.. DOES such a thing, in theory...to remind him or her self.. to tow that...fine line.
