HPR and Life Leech are underrated

Seriously, those things rock. Every time I see a melee weapon without it I feel sad for them. 30 ssi whirlwind 60+ mana leech 60 life leech is unstoppable at a place like the cavern of the discarded.

I was watching a necro mage try to kill the ratman boss for 10 mins invis one day. I finally couldn't take it any more. I walked over and flattened it for him. Here's what he said. Is that the best axe you've got? rofl

I can melee every single monster that spawns in the henchrat spawn, plus the 3 bosses at one time in total safety with that axe. Its actually easier to kill 2 or all 3 of the bosses at the same time than separately.

You guys should consider getting those 2 things in your uo lives. HPR is excellent for mages too.

Tamer could probably do it with the small spawn could be an issue.

They're not under rated. It's just everyone's a freaking vampire and would rather have a different mod on their weapon.

I run in ninja dog form with max HPR, which gives you like 70-80 HPR total. With mirror images, it is really hard to get taken down, except by those guys that instakill. Poison, mortal strike, none of that stuff makes a dent on your health. Poison can ruin your stamina, though.

Haven't tried a good life leach wep. I should check that out. No need for mana leech because you can't cast anything good in dog form.

I knew it was great when I realized it was actually better for me to melee all 3 of those bosses at same time instead of 1 at a time. At first I was sorta concerned about that archer boss, but he's np at all. I like it when the mage one drops the big rocks on me, I think my garg does that but I never actually cast it on anything. The rock drop is a cool graphic. Another cool graphic is when your collossus throws stuff at monsters.

Bombard is the spell and I use it all the time on my garg it looks cool and works great on the right critters

Can you do special moves with your weapon in dog form? Or do you lack the Tactics skill to attempt them?

Whirlwind (15 mana cost - only 5 if you have max cost reduction from skills) is truly insane with a good HLL/HML weapon. You can spam at spawns all day, if your weapon isn't taking damage from it (I think that requires being SC to not take damage). I was able to solo 3 Generals at once during the invasion about a year ago in Skara, using a radiant scimitar so equipped, on a character without ninjitsu or bushido, only Chivalry (and as the general types were different, I wasn't using EoO).

Yea... 70% damage converted to health works good too. But really, those guys just have way too many HP, gets really annoying.
