How Tough are You?

Or rather, How tough do you like it? Puzzle-wise.
There's usually a game within a game going on, whether it's the Experimental Room, Plague Beast Lord Surgery, story Arcs or figuring numbers behind an action like Imbuing, there's always something to figure out.
While a Click dispenser in about as easy as it gets, are you A leader, or follow a leader? what level of difficulty do you find enjoyable and what have you particularly enjoyed in days past or current? What would you like to see, or see again?

I have trouble getting dressed, so you know where I stand, a wannabe to Dumb and Dumber.

Personally I think the harder the better.. Games are way too dumbed down now.
Playing SWTOR a little and eye candy is great but I hate having a little green arrow lead me around by the nose.
However.. having said that I should clarify: Item Properties are just way overcomplicated now.
AND... adding a million hit points to a mob is NOT the right way to make things harder.

I don't enjoy having to reverse engineer something in game to figure out its mechanics. I enjoy trying to optimize skills and characters. I don't understand why a system like reforging is released without formulas, probabilities, and property explanations. As for puzzles, I think there should be varying difficulty levels in game. The majority should take a short amount of time (say 5-10 min) to solve. Some should be either more difficult or somehow trickier. A very few should be devilishly hard. All should be considered bonus content and not deliver game breaking rewards though.

I will agree with the other posters that some things not really puzzles can be very hard to(harder than a puzzle) do. But then again thats why startics is here to pool our collective minds and network on these things. As for actual dificulty on puzzles it varies. The experemental room can not be done with a choppy connection. And these exodus puzzles are hard to do the bigger ones with monsters dragged on to you. In general I like puzzles hard if it truly is a puzzle you are doing. And, can be done as such.

I don't mind puzzles (I even occasionally did the old control panels for fun), but I've yet to finish the experimental room even once because even the slightest lag hiccup knocks me back out. ONE TIME I finished it, only to have a half-second lag hiccup keep me from getting into the room to claim the prize.

Imbuing is a puzzle for me, which without the Online Calc, I wouldn't often utilize.
Sutek, which pretty much hits my limit, involving both speed and memory, I find Fun, which I'd do, or attempt, much more, even tho the reward is meager, IF I could ever find him there, often more of a puzzle where he is today than the actual game. True, I know 'it doesn't start until I'm ready', but I fail a lot, and if he's in the Daemon spawn area, that's a long trip for a few seconds of game - LS, he's Broken, imo.

I love puzzles. I all of them in Underworld and the new ones in Exodus Dungeon. Experimental room i do very often, i'm realy good in it. Best of my sales come from those items. I like challenges. The harder the better. I always seek to overcome them, alone or with help of friends.

There is nothing i won't try. When i want something, i will get it sooner or later. But i don't rush to get things But i'm very stubborn and eventualy will have it. :)

I like well designed puzzles that "make sense," and are not just the brute force random click-until-you-find-the-answer type of puzzle. The best example I can think of for a good puzzle design are those in Skyrim - and there are many many puzzles in Skyrim. The Skyrim puzzles aren't always easy, but there is almost always a clue to the solution hidden somewhere close. But even if you can't find the clue, or don't understand the clue, you can still resort to the good ol' fashioned brute force method of trying all the combinations until you find the answer, the say "OH! That makes sense now!"

Once I liked the plague beast lord surgery, just because you must act fast to complete it and 80% of times you are in the middle of a swamp with horde of monsters coming so you have to complete it fast or fail and risk to die...

Unfortunately it happens what usually happen: on EC is broken...

I'll spend hours designing the perfect imbued suit with a spreadsheet, but I don't go in for puzzles at all.
This! I don't do puzzles at all. I just want to kill monsters and make my character more powerful with skills and equipment.
