how to get a scrappers recipe

how does one obtain a recipe scroll for a scrappers? I'm told its a heartwood quest, but what one in heartwood do i need to be doing?

You can also get them in treasure chests (at least I think you still can).

What shard are you on? If you are on ATL I can give you one since I have a few from my days as a treasure hunter.

IIRC, the trinket weavers are the ones that give Inscription, Alchemy and some of the other oddball recipes.

Hi does anyone know which specific quest you need to do to acquire a Scrapper's Recipe?
Does it matter which trinket weaver person you get the quest from or the specific quest matter?
Or is it just a numbers and luck when a scrappers will be in your reward bag?
Ive been trying months with the quests and i keep getting the same quests and recipes scrolls, and talismans.
Help!!

I've gotten bone machete recipes from T-maps (which are usually from the quest outside the dungeon only)

If you are playing on a decently populated shard you can likely buy it for pretty cheap these days given that the scrapper spellbook is a bit outdated these days since most ToT events (and the town invasions) have given us many chances at 30-50% SDI books.

If you are looking to get the recipe yourself then the two ways listed above are your best bet. Couple of things though:

1. I'm not sure which would be more likely to get your the recipe at this point (Tmaps or Heartwood quest) because I feel like my artisan maps are very hit or miss with recipes (total RNG) and then you need the scrappers recipe out of the 20-30 recipes? that spawn.
2. Stash and supply maps really don't require much skill since the Tmap changes. I'm not totally sure of the Carto needed but I'd guess 50 would suffice and you don't need lockpicking because magic unlock (mage spell) works on both of those levels and don't need remove trap because the spawn is so easy (and damage from opening is so little).

I broke down and purchased one.
Very true i have been using the 30 -40% sdi spell books more in recent times.
I guess i just wanted that to make my scribe complete and have the ability to make those books.
