Hi im on the europa world at the moment and its not very busy, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how many people use this world(or whatever its called) and what "world" is the busiest! Thanks

Europa is the most populated European shard.
Atlantic is the most populated US shard.
Dunno which shard is the most populated Japanese shard.

It's also helpful to play a shard during the busiest hours, like 6pm-midnight. Whenever I play Europa it's really dead, but that's because I'm in the EST time zone and most Europa players are in bed when I'm playing their shard. 6pm for me is midnight for them.
i think izumo is the largest japanese shard, that place is stuffed all the time..
as far as the most empty shards :
oceania i think 100 players
origin around 75 people

you guys should try europa pvp at about 8-12 gmt, tons of pvp'ers around

you should prolly choose what server you play based on latency so you get one close to you. depending on where oyu live you may play europa when everyones asleep in europe.

When I did my last survey on how many hours people play I got 95 responses so I guess 95 people total play UO on all the shards.

I would suggest going to http://www.uo.com. On the left hand side go down to "My UO" and then click on Guilds and Factions. You can browse the different shards and see where the most activity is taking place. It's not anything exact, but it will give you somewhat an idea of population. Usually if there are a ton of guilds there are a lot of players.
I play on Pacific and it's always populated.
There is some quite shards for sure..
But if u are saying Europa is dead then jack in mate....
EUROPA is very definate one of the fullest shards there is..
No it aint like 8-9 years ago full .. but jeepers player interaction u will get most definate.....

Just because its the only one doesnt mean a thing
There would probably be more people if they advertised the game.
Ask anyone here if they have heard of UO and youll get a "what? never heard of it"
As far as im aware im the only person in my town of over 45k people that play, closest is a good couple of hours away.
When i went to preorder the last couple boxes they person behind the counter had no idea what the game was and they work in a gaming store. Go figure that out.
But everyone knows about *mouth vomits* WoW. Its advertised. Hell MR T & william shatner have done adds for it!

Sure he might have been lying. But in the context it was a spontaneous utterance, and was not a discussion about UO (he was just using it as an example), so he could have easily found another example.
