How many heartwood quests before i get a yew/heartwood kit?

As the title suggests, how long am I going to have to do the heartwood quests before I get a nice runic kit? I've had a bowyer for ages and cant decide if i can be bothered to do soooo many quests in order to get a runic kit or if to just buy one.

Could be 1, could be 1,000,000. There's no set number. It's just you against the RNG.

And remember, the RNG hates you. I've done the heardwood quests roughly 300 times, making regular bows, and turning in crossbow bolts. I've gotten two oak runics (yayaya useless!) and a pile of crappy items a newbie at Haven would pass over. I honestly think the heartwood quests were invented to make BODs look better, and wow it was a success!
