How many accounts do you use?

Would have never, ever, ever guessed amount of people getting by with 2 accounts and those with 5++ are about equal. Interesting stuff.

If people could transfer characters from one account to another, like in WoW would people close an accounts?

I have 4 accts that I have never missed a payment on, plus 2 others that I turn on/off. I agree with you its kind of crazy but I rationalize the expense because I don't play any other games. The reason I hold them is to keep houses, plus I like to play a wide variety of templates. Out of the 28 chars on my main shard, I play at least 20 regularly.

To answer your question above, I'd say no. Over the years, I've managed on one account to Max every skill and keep them on soul stones. My intention was to keep only that acct at some point, but now I find I won't do it. I guess the reasons are wanting to keep houses+I've found juggling skills on stones too inconvenient for the rate that I like to switch it up. And last but not least, I think I'm attached to my guys.

Don't trick your self overly much! If you currently have one account open but in the long run, end up reactivating another on semi active basis, don't settle with " one" ;P

I have 5 active, one inactive...all have 7 developed chars...they are bod mules as well as 120 mage + scribe...all have, oh shall we say, rather CREATIVE names...their spellbooks, weps & armor sell VERY well:]

In the last phase 1 of the RTB fallers i reopend a couple for placing....alas they are expired...but will reopen again when phase 2 of the RTB fallers restart...

I have two accounts.

Started with one ,got one to hold for a friend and kept that for a few years.
When he got back I gave him the account back ofcourse and now I have two accounts again.
My friend have quit for the last time and I have played with his son for awhile and now I have one of his accounts.


Ofcourse he will get it back if he turns up again,meanwhile he holds the east flank of my town.

this is a trick question because i share 4 other accounts with friends.

I adopted a couple accounts so I'm actually at 7 now. I admit a few of them are just house holders.
But.. A note to Kelmo... I like my house on Siege but hell yeah.... can you show me a bigger spot good for a miner?
