Is it possible to buy a game code and give it to a friend to get them back in UO?

I bought a game code yesterday and it automatically applied to my account.

I am trying to get a friend to come back and I seem to be running into a wall, is this as intended?

Thanks for any that can point me to the right direction.

Yes. I have had the same issues before. It would be nice to be able to purchase codes for this very reason.

I have been able to do it before by calling them at (866) 543 - 5435. They sent me the code by E-mail and I was able to forward it to a friend.

Perhaps if you call UO? The customer support might have a solution for you.

The three month code applies directly to your acct.
However, unless it's been changed recently, the six month game code does not get applied automatically. With the six month deal you get a code via e-mail which you manually enter via 'acct management'. That code can be used by anyone. Again I must disclose that this is how it was a couple months ago. As long as EA hasn't changed it since, it should function as I described.

As Metalstorm says, despite all the warnings, notes and information given when you buy a 6-month code, it is NOT applied to the account you logged in to UOGamecodes with (unlike the three month one) and comes as a code in an email, so you can forward it on or apply it to a different account as you desire - and it was working that way last week, when I bought one.
