How do you use General Chat and Guild Messeges in the EC?

/s = "Say" or local/overhead speech
/c = Sends speech to the currently subscribed chat channel
/g = Sends speech to Guild Chat

Also, you should find a small chat bubble at the bottom left of the chat window frame, if you click on that it gives you the option to change which chat you're using. Chat, Yell, Alliance, Guild, Party, Say. If you right click on this button, it will give you some options for chat, such as chat and speech colors.

You can also use the same prefixes like 2d:
| alliance
\ guild
/ party

with that prefixes the advantage is that you are not switching the whole channel. When you use /g /p, everytime you want to write into the normal chat you have to /s again to write there.

There's a button on the toolbar as well that gives you some control over chat functions.
