I been fighting for a while and poisoning aint going up, nor are the monsters being affected by the poison. I have the poisoning skill on my 5 slot hiryu, poisoning is at 20.0 .

How do you train Poisoning on a pet?

No, it's not trying even. Just normal attacks.
interesting, ive been spending the day training pets, ive got 3 computers running and im all over doing stuff.
but i noticed that one of my Cu's that i put Poisoning on it has not budged one bit.
the Cu is now fully trained and has not budged one point.
we are talking 8 hours of training and it hasnt gained anything.
so maybe there is something to this, now ive seen Cu's that have been trained up on nox, im wondering if we added something on that stopped it.
would say adding Chiv on after the poison kill it off???

As others have said adding another magic skill will remove poisoning, I used poisoning to remove magery on my Nightmare.
I'm finding it slow going but pets up to 40 poisoning now. Training on Ortanords works but it all comes down to how often the pet attempts to poison.
Nightmares got armour ignore and breath attack as well as poisoning, if I was doing this again i'd probably add poisoning then wait till that's trained before adding armour ignore.
