How do you make a pvp trap box?

Sorry I didn't answer this sooner, but it's been awhile since I did one of these, so I had to double-check...
1) Make a Wooden Box (Carpentry Skill). It must be lockable, so high Carpentry skill is needed.
2) Make your trap (Tinker skill). The Dart Trap is the best and easiest, but it takes a little fletching skill to make the Crossbow Bolt.
3) After making the trap, you will be asked to target a container, so target the wooden box.
4) Lock the box.

Make a SMALL CRATE not a wooden box.
Minimum tinker skill to make a dart trap is 30. Higher tinker skill, more damage. I wouldn't want to go over 31 tinker skill. After you have that base skill to attempt the trap, the effect of a talisman is unknown. It gives you more chance at success but might increase the trap damage.
After making the dart trap you have to lock the box using the key. That enables the trap. But when it's locked the average guy can't open it. So cast magic unlock on the box. (Don't unlock it with the key, that disables the trap again.)
Next the box must face with its long axis east-west. The other way gives no damage. And the box does no damage to the one who made the trap. Only another character gets hurt opening it. So test the box with somebody else.
The trap should do 8-20 damage at around 30.5 tinkering. On average it should take 100 tries to make the trap at that skill level.
I have been told that a buyer gets damaged if he opens the box on your vendor. Is it possible to give the vendor a murder count? ROFL this game has more exploits than a Wall Street insurance company.

to make things easy for you i suggest useing a Large wooden crate the square one it will not bug up like the rectangle ones do
step one make box with a carpenter but try to have small amount of tinkering 30 be ideal i expect though may need to make a few to get a lockable one.
step 2 make trap again lower tinker skill the better for this part get min skill and use a talisman with tinker bouns to help with success trap the box
step 3 lock it put it on the floor of your house and secure it
step 4 use a decoration tool and turn the box one time
step 5 unsecure it cast unlock then you should have a trap box that will allways stay traped for you with low dmg output.
