How do you get your chat box back in KR if disappears?

A friend of mine who runs KR recently lost his chat box in KR and Im was wondering how do I tell him what to do to get it back? I dont run KR here so thats the reason Im asking.. he has his say box which is what puts text over his head but lost the box thats used to talk in guild/alliance chat. Can anyone help with this?

One of two ways:

1. Ingame: Set your UI as small as it will go and see if it becomes visible, then move it and set UI scale back

2. Out of game: Find the file named after the affected character in My Documents\EA Games\Ultima Online\User Data\Account\Shard and open it in Notepad and look for <WindowPositions name="SystemMessageFrame1" x="216.039780" y="5.870646" width="328.000000" height="317.000000" />

If the X and/or Y coordinates are in the negatives, put them in the display range of your screen (500x500 is ok) and that should bring it back into sight.
