I still cant remember my 120 swordsman ever outshining ANY Template when it comes to events or mob bosses can you or even in fel most dungeons hmm he is main char thats what deters me from playing uo much i thought this was a fantasy game its not its a Tamer/mage game thats completely unbalanced ?
PS he is good at picking up pumpkins
Actually, warriors have been given nice boosts throught the years that brings them at least on par with other templates and very often exceed them.
For normal highend hunts, warriors are great at doom, peerless and champions.
They consistantly outdamage other templates when doing doom and champs,using slayer weapons, EOO, CW.
Most peerless soloing can only be done using a warrior template - the sammy.
As to events, sicari is best done as a warrior. And solo too. Bards are useless coz there's nothing to provoke. Tamers and ev mages gets pulled into sicari. This applies to the spider champ and narvey as well since their special web attacks are similar to sicari.
Skeletal lich during last halloween and grim reaper during halloween the year before that is all best done with warriors.
Town invasion (the one with the colored platemail and generals and the crimson dragon) is also best done with warriors. Esp the crimson dragon, coz GDs are not useful, they dispel evs easily and cannot be barded.
Warriors aren't as bad as you think. Time to train (I am thinking slow gain skills like ninjitsu) is comparable to taming and disco, but they do have more stringent equipment needs.
