How Do I Make A Barrel (not a keg)?

Can someone please tell me how to make a barrel, not a keg?

you can't
barrels aren't crafted, sorry. You can get them from various places by picking them up when they're empty. I don't remember the full details. I used to get them from the spawning gypsy sites when I was training lock pick. Pick it, untrap it, empty it, pick it up.

There are also some closed barrels that are daily rares, IIRC....

Yes, they spawn in Deceit.

First one is in level 1, south side not far from the entrance. Second is on level 2, large room just north of the bone mages room

Of course if you mean a normal Barrel, not the closed-lidded variety...

Just poke around where gypsies and brigands appear. You'll find them.

You need to pick the lock and blow the trap on them, but that can be done with 50 magery skill (or 30 lockpicking).

Barrier Island (the East end of Trinsic across the bridge) is great for those spawns. Barrels or Kegs or both almost constantly. And they don't even care of you steal them.

go to the docks in britan. take a water pitcher and put water in it and take it out. this will free the barrel to be taken. it only takes 1 pitcher of water, youll see it change so it looks like it has water in it. when you remove the water itll highlight and be moveable. you can then move it and lock down/ secure it. also if you take it somewhere you can put water in it//up to 20 pitchers full// and itll become static again and you can use it for deco outside your house or whatever.
