How do I get my pet to make others *spasm uncontrollably* ?

I had poisoning at about 120-ish on my rune beetle, but he didn't make them spasm. I have GM poisoning on one of my hiryus, but that doesn't do it either. Am i missing something?

Mesanna commented in the latest meet that they would look into this - its supposedly a bug. I've heard others complaining about this as well.

I asked to be able to tame those too! I wish I could! But no Dread Spider... and yes I called it a she...
