or Reforge or craft.

I don't know how to put 190 luck on a piece of metal armor (or leather btw...). How do i do it? I have a few dull copper, copper, shadow, and bronze hammers.

Please tel me how to do it !

For leather you use spined (this adds 40 luck and 9 physical resist). Use a normal tool and select "enhance" but I would recommend using a forged metal of artifacts for 100% success.

Go to test center shard and try there if you are not sure.

Copper hammer for 150 luck on metal then enhance with gold for 190.

Runic Reforging | Ultima Online
Re-Forging requires:
  • that the user use a Runic tool near a Soul Forge
  • that the user have 65% or higher imbuing skill ( The higher the character’s Imbuing skill the more options will be available.)
  • a non-magical craftable item that is not made from special materials

So, just to clarify:
1.) Craft a regular, iron, unmodded piece of armor.
2.) Use Copper or Bronze hammer.
3.) From reforge menu select, Aucspicious/fortune property.
4.) reforge item.
5.) Enchant item with gold ingots.

Did i miss anything?

Yes, you missed some steps.

4. reforge
5. imbue
6 Enhance. Note: You MUST use a forged metal tool, otherwise when trying for 190 luck you have a 0% chance to succeed for the enhance.

do i use the metal tool, when i enchant with gold, or when?
This is the last step. After you have imbued everything you then enhance. Its all explained in the link above that Tuan posted. In that thread the guy used leather for the most part but the process is the same.

How about using Powder of Fort. ? I didn't see much on that.

When should i apply the Powder of Fortification?

Here's a progress update:

1.) I got each piece of my armor reforged to 150 luck each! It took about 10 to 12 Bronze hammers (copper hammers maxed out at 130 luck).
2.) bought two Forged Metal Tools to enchant the items.

Now what do i do? Powder of Fort, Imbue, then Enchant with Gold?

Nevermind! I figured it out. For anyone that needs to know:

1.) Craft the item
2.) Reforge
3.) Powder of Fortification
4.) Imbue

Peace! I'm out...

For what it's worth, I forget to use power of fort sometimes in the game too, in addition to forgetting to write it down here...

Sorry, but i got one more question: do you Imbue before Enchanting? Can you enchant an already Imbued item?

Tuan

Yes, imbue then enhance. You technically can go in either order. However, if you imbue first, then enhance you get an item with 550ish property weight, if you enhance then imbue you only get 500, because that luck/resists count into the imbue weight/properties.

So, to sum it up, this is what I understood. Please let me know if it's correct, I have a hard time with it.

For Metal
1.) Craft a regular, iron, unmodded piece of armor/weapon/shield.
2.) Reforge item near Soulforge with Copper or Bronze Runic hammer. From reforge menu select, Aucspicious/fortune property.
3.) POF (optional)
4.) Imbue (What should I imbue here for a Peace Tamer? LRC, LMC, what else?)
5.) Enhance item with gold ingots. Preferably with a forged metal tool to actually succeed.

For Leather, what changes exactly?
On step 1.) we use regular leather or spined?
On step 2.) we use spined runic kit or horned or barbed?
On step 5.) we enhance with Gold as before?

Leather you craft the item with plain leather. Then regorge with a horned runic kit and aim for 150 luck. You will get other mods so maybe choose another name for a bit more control. Then enhance with spined leather to reach 190 luck.

As for the mods to imbue it totally depends on what you need on the suit. Mage tamer maybe LRC/LMC then maybe MR/MI/HPI?

OK, thanks for that. I guess this is the final guideline then.

For Metal
1.) Craft a regular, iron, unmodded piece of armor/weapon/shield.
2.) Reforge item near Soulforge with Copper or Bronze Runic hammer. From reforge menu select, Aucspicious/fortune property.
3.) POF (optional)
4.) Imbue (Peace Tamer example: LRC/LMC, MR/MI/HPI)
5.) Enhance item with gold ingots. Preferably with a forged metal tool to actually succeed.

For Leather
1.) Craft a regular, leather, unmodded piece of armor/weapon/shield.
2.) Reforge item near Soulforge with Horned Runic Sewing Kit for 150 Luck.
3.) POF (optional)
4.) Imbue ((Peace Tamer example: LRC/LMC, MR/MI/HPI))
5.) Enhance item with Spined Leather for 190 Luck.

Thanks for the help. Now next time I can search for this thread and read this ;)

By the way, how would you recommend the reforging menu selection? Powerful/Structural/etc reforging?

Seems like the minimum is Grand Artifice + Inspired Artifice to be able to reforge Luck.

Also can you use the forged metal tool with leather?
