How come Dispel Evil Dispels everything EXCEPT Rising Colossal?

I was just wondering if this spell was ment to not be able to Dispel every summoned creature or if it is. I had a friend with only 9 Fame summon a deamon and I was able to dispel it fine with Dispel Evil. When he summoned a Rising Colossal or Colossus (however u spell it) I was not able to Dispel it using Dispel Evil. Is this a bug, glitch or what?

I can dispel them just fine on my chiv char (120 chiv)

Oh, you know I wonder if it was because I only had 118 chivalry? If its that then how could i was able to dispel Deamons? Do Rising Colossals just require more skill you think?

Someone in our guild couldn't do it the other day with 110. Maybe you do need 120?

I'd be interested in knowing something like that. Being able to have good dispels on RCs would be pretty beneficial.

A: casted from a red
B: Casted from a blue and you were grey?
C: Casted by an OJ?

I have noticed, sometimes I have to ATTACK it before I can dispel it. And I know I have dispelled OJ ones, but again I have to attack them first.

I was blue and the person that cast the Colossal was gray.

That's why. If they were a murderer it could have been dispelled or if the colossus attacked you because you were gray or combat flagged to the gray player you also could have dispelled it. Or if you're red and tried I think it also would dispel it. (not positive on the last one)

You know the weird thing is I was blue he was gray but I was still attacking him at the time... The colossal didn't even attack me, I had to cast magic arrow on it everytime lol. Its not like you can say "ALL GUARD ME" with a colossal, there like EVs... Except I think an EV would have attacked me? Im not sure.

If it doesn't flag you you can't dispel it :/. Unless you're red then everything's a viable target.

Probably because Dispel Evil was added in 2003 and Rising Colossus was added in 2008.
