How are you doing with your stall?

Since the start of the stalls on June 7 I made myself a little pet shop.
I often had questions to tame small pets like beetles and fire beetles.
But i don't like it to keep people waiting, so this stall was for me the perfect solution to have a few pets always ready so everyone gets them right away.

This is what i am selling.

Bane dragons used to be on the list too.

Here are my earnings for almost 2 months of small pets.

So far i only rented the stall for 1000 gold.
The weekly upkeep cost me nothing. :)

With the customization option i now have a vendor that stands out between the others.

If you like to help people with selling pets this is a nice way to do it.

Keep your prices fair and the stall always stocked with all the pets you want to sell.
Advertise often with runes.

i also work on request for other pets if people ask for it.

Do you have a stall and how is it doing?

I have been running a high end pet vendor for a lil over a month now. I sell fairly cheap. Highest price so far has been 1.5 mil for 4.0+ on atlantic. At 1st i was selling at least one nice pet a day. that lasted about 3-4 weeks, lately though I haven't had a pet move off the vendor at all. Been at least 14 days since Ive had a sale. I find it strange but I think everyone that wanted a high end pet and couldn't afford 5-15 mill bought a pet from me already. Heh... Maybe Ill have to start limiting my tames to 4.5+

That said I have pulled a little over 50 mill off the stall and my match bid has never even been challenged let alone meet. I pay 150K-350k weekly fees for about 10 pets ranging from 250k-1.5 mill.

I have a non-tamer pet vendor on Europa, there's a steady turnover of pets, something sold every day. My prices are rather modest and I'm beginning to suspect my fire beetles are being bought for re-sale but so far I've made a nice half mil.
The purpose of having it though was to give people better access to pets that can't be bought from an npc so just knowing I sold something every day makes it worthwhile for me.

I must say the pet vendors on Siege have been the best thing for the shard. Heck all shards benifit from them... how many times have I been on a shard and needed a blue bug and not a tamer to be had or understand english.... this has made it a better game exp.

I have a stall in Europa/Magincia mostly as a public service: i put in all kind of ridables for like 500gp, blue beetles, iron beetles, bane dragons sometimes. I also tame fire beetles and started to sell at 10k but i had to raise the price to 30-35-40 because i couldn't keep up with the selling rate (do you europa players eat fire beetles?!! :D).

I also tried to use the stall as a stable expansion, i've put two drakes in and set a price of 500k: who's going to buy a drake for 500k after all?

Well, to the guy who bought my two trained drakes for 500k each: i really hate you! :D.

i love the new stall vendors! brilliant idea. i have never set one up - i suck at taming - but now my crafters all have fire beetles. yay! i've also bought giant beetles for some minor chars. thanks to ea for introducing a looooooooong overdue service, and thanks to the players for stocking pets i'd have no hope of taming on my own (like fire beetles).

Yeah, I was iffy about it, and I saw the point people were making that it might reduce interaction, but on the other hand some of the tamers I know have benefited from it in a big way and it is much easier for people to acquire pets.

Helps that their are so many spots for free vendors in magincia and that like 90% of the spots are free for stuff like pet vendors.

Imho Magincia Vendors spots would be more used for buying items then selling.

I thought about getting one of the Boosters for the reason of running a pet shop at the Bazaar, but from what i've heard of all the unfinished parts of the Boosters (Not to mention the price for them), and also the fact that i play on a low population shard that's practically a ghost shard, i decided against it.

I was originally gonna sell stuff like Trained Golems (Golems with GM Wrest/Tact, perfect for training Magery/Wep Skills/Tact past GM), and stuff like Fire Beetles or trained Iron Beetles (They're actually one of the most powerful pets a non tamer can own). Great Wyrms (I hate the "Greater Dragon" name) would've also been good to sell, as well as colored Cu Sidhes.

No wonder mine sell out so fast. I put my fire beetles for 20k, my giant beetles for 5k and didn't even think to put gholems on there.

wife and i have had a lot of success with ours, we sell a little of everything from trained cu's to fire beetles. We keep the prices midrange and like Petra was saying ,thinking a lot of the pets are being resold, but were happy with the rates and the steady customer's will continue it till the well runs dry or we get tired of taming and training good cu's..

Best reaction i get are the people who ask in General chat for a pet or a golem when i tell them to go to my shop in New Magincia. Most people find it great they can get the pet right away when they ask for it. And i don't have to stop what i'm doing to help them right away.

I just have to check the stall when i first log in at the day and then refill whats been sold. :)
