How are stores going to make it?!

Hey my store is selling out on all the items? I dont know how we are going to restock with these prices! They should atleast lower the prices on stores so that we can buy and sell...its nearly impossible to buy at their price...I mean 600 for a toilet! then trying to sell it for atleast $650 to make a lil profit? nobody is going to spend $650 on a toilet!!

they are killing us slowly but surely. Basically if you don't make and stock CC your in a world of hurt. I dont think EA can keep going the way they are. Just today i spoke with 3 founders and 6 oldies but not founders and they ALL are on the verge of heading to free accounts. I'm not sure im that far behind them. Been playing off and on for 5 years this new economy has been a real kick in the <censored> ! I don't mind the lowered payouts if the costs were similiar! I think MANY people have swallowed these low payouts wihtout too much of a fuss, but DANG fix prices to match.

I think you are right. The lower payouts are bad, but people realize they can still make some money given enough time. With this cap coming in, this is going to destroy the game. I am another oldie who is getting ready to uninstall and give up on this game completely.

Between those ridiculous prices and this cap thing I wonder what will happen to stores, AND skill houses, AND money houses, etc.

Stores might need to take a break until CC scripted objects come out. Because soon people will be making cc toilets that work, cc bookcases to skill from, and cc money objects. It's all going to CC. No one will want to buy from the catalogue.

I have a Mall in Av. that I havn't opened yet to the public. I don't think I will open untill all this is straightened out. I really don't want to go bankrupted yet.

I can't even get anyone to come to my store....and when I do, they poof right away without saying anything even when I greet them. (I have to laugh sometimes when I see a newbie come in because I KNOW they can't buy anything yet, so why would they bother coming to a store right away?)

I know people can't afford much right now, but if I lower prices anymore, I might as well just give stuff away. I looked at the catalog prices, and my stuff is marked way below the suggested price. I've been at my store most of the day and have only had two people come by and they didn't buy anything. It's getting very frustrating.
