Housing Decay Reactivated on 01/17

Update 01/13: Housing decay will be reactivated in FOUR DAYS.
Update 01/11: Housing decay will be back on in SIX DAYS. Since Monday, January 16 is a holiday in the US (Martin Luther King Day) have decided to extend the grace period by another day. Housing decay on will be re-activated on Tuesday, January 17.
Please note that even if your account has been inactive for more than 90 days, you still have 5 days after housing decay is back, before your house is gone.

We will turn on housing decay on Monday, January 16. Please take the necessary steps to secure your house before its turned back on.

I think it is a shame that they changed the date to Tuesday. This means the houses will likely fall on the following Monday,( assuming the idoc rules remain the same).
Of course I will wait for the houses to start the decay process, but I might take that Monday off work.

How does that work exactly?

"Hi, this is uh, Packrat and I won't be able to make it in today"

HR: "Last time it was some invasion wasn't it? Never happened around me. What gives?"

"Oh it happened trust me! This time my neighbors houses are set to fall today and I need to help with the cleanup"

HR: "Fall?"

"Yep I noticed they were condemned and in danger of collapsing so I bonded some pack horse just for that purpose. Today is the day, I feel it!"

HR: "Ok then. Oh and Packrat?"

"Yes?"

HR: "We'd like to set you up an appointment when you come in tomorrow. Take your pick: Game Addictions Anonymous, Drug Testing or Psych Eval"

Well it does answer one question if you read the test correctly.

Houses will fall 5 days after the turn on and will show the decay on the house... that should please alot of players who have been dying to get their grubby paws on things.

considering it is free to activate an account and save your house for another 104 days and RTB houses will not be falling I think this IDOC event being overrated. I could end up being wrong of course

Lets hope they fall on Sunday when more people will have a chance at the Idocs. It always seem to get push back a day cause of server down time or an unexpected update. They should have left it for Monday when people might have the day off and a chance to run around and mark runes instead of trying after work or running around Saturday at the last Minute.
