Im new to the idoc scene.

Well im trying to place a home right now after one fell and..

It states that housing in this area cannot be created at this time.


How long is the timer?

they just changed this - it was changed to 'random' or 30 minutes or something. sorry i don't remember right off.
maybe someone who does remember will come by.

Random, I haven't read that anyone's pinned it down any more than that yet. Also, house placement tools now ignore you for a while if you click them too many times within a period of time (I don't have any more info than that on the number of times or the length of time you're unable to use them). After a while of non-use, they start listening to you again. having multiple tools makes no difference, it's a cooldown per character or account, not per tool.
