House Placement Tool issues

I recently placed a small house and decided to place a Keep somewhere else later. I knew that I had to wait for the timer. Everytime I used the House Placement tool it would tell me how many hours I had left. It was about 70 hours yesterday.

I had demolished my house yesterday, it didn't have much in it at the time.

However, when I just went to use the tool to see how many hours I had, I could place a house and didn't get warning that I couldn't.

So it placed another small house instantly.

So I demolished that house a few minutes ago and went to the spot that was available for a Keep.

I could place the Keep straight away with no warning.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this? I'm not going to place anything important in the keep, just in case something goes wrong lol

It is also came up with 'true' at the bottom of the game window. And also 'false'.

when you demolish yr house the timer stops

you can freely place

now that you have a keep put the tool away and enjoy yr new large home!

you only get the warning when you have a house, owned it for a week or more(timer as you said) and you try to place a new house, the warning tells you about the condemning of your old house

no house= no warning

My guess:
true for placement ability (not trial account)
false for not owning other houses
The true/false thing is a leftover debug statement from housing testing so many years ago that it's not even funny.

I often think of it as our constant reminder that Ultima Online is one of the longest running beta tests ever. *snicker*
