My house will be dropping sometime tonight before I go to bed. Maybe someone will find something of value to them. Maybe someone will have a bit of fun in battle. If anyone missed my earlier post, the house is SE of Yew in one of the Wispwood clearings.
For those who tried to convince me to put our stuff on vendors, entrust it to someone to sell on our behalf, etc....thanks for the thought and concern. In all reality though, the gold was never the issue. The whole exercise just cemented one of the reasons I quit playing. Years of hard work can very quickly be overshadowed in moments by one patch or one player willing to spend a couple hundred dollars.
The best time I had on Siege by far was the first couple of months, when the entire shard was broke and without a house. There was nothing like ganking a ratman in hopes of a piece of armor or 15 gold, while struggling to survive the attacking player capable of casting the poison spell. Unfortunately these times are long gone for me. Though I will always remember the people I met and the adventures I had, the world lost its luster.
Anyway, to everyone I encountered on Siege and UO (friend, neutral, or enemy), I enjoyed my time here, I hope you do to. But don't forget, there's a real world out there too, and in the grand scheme of things, pixels here don't amount to anything.
