House Decay

If I delete a toon that placed a house, does that house start to decay? And to further complicate matters, what if it is the only toon on the account....

My sense of it is that the house is tied to the account, not the toon. But if there is not any other characters on the account, what happens?

Houses are bound to the account and not a specific toon (even though your char's name appears on the house sign). So even if there's no toon the house should remain standing as long as the account is payed up, name on house sign will change once a new toon is created. But why would there be no characters on the account..?

What you wrote is accurate, I've done it before.

If you delete all the characters, the next character you make will be on the house sign.

However, if you just delete the character that owns the house but not all the rest of the account's characters... it gets stuck with the old character's name on the sign. I had to call a GM to change it when that happened to me.
