So I am waiting on a house to fall, but its been in "Greatly Worn" state for days now and hasn't changed to IDOC...As far as I can read the GW stage should only last a day, not many days. Was this changed.

As far as I know nothing has changed - houses i have been watching have been changing as usual. The period between Greatly and Idoc is actually a day and a half not a day. Thus if it was greatly say Monday morning it could easily still be greatly Tuesday morning as well - check again you will probably find it turns very soon.

There is a house on Oceania shard which has as it's name, "This house is greatly worn". Only thing is, experienced IDOC'ers know that this house does not actually have a decay status, and is simply named that way.
The joke's on you if this is a house named in such a way.
It's possibly OSI Owned as well.

Nominally its 7 hours but its usually around 6 hours 55 mins. In rare cases they sometimes go an extra hour.

The only thing better than getting the house spot is getting some decent loot with it.
My best hauls so far have been some Tokuno dyes, and 120k worth of iron ingots in commodity deeds.
There was also this customizable house plot that dropped at an odd time, when I was the only one there, and I scooped up a crazy amount of unravelable junk. Thanks to unravel container, imbuer went through it in a matter of minutes. Even though all of it was low-end, it boosted his stocks of magical residue and enchanted essence.
The Tower was striped bare by the owner who was letting it fall. This spot is more worth to me than a ton of artifacts or a castle. So the spot itself is valuable beyond measure and I am very happy in getting it.
