house decay rate changes?

so i was watching two different houses in the past two weeks and they both went from greatly worn to gone in less than 6 hours did they change the decay times?

The decay rates have not changed. Those houses you were watching must have been collapsed by the owner.
Likely the owner placed a new house elsewhere and was moving.
