OK so the only info I could find on this was here in this thread on stratics. I guess it was an item that a GM had and what's a dog dupe? I had stopped playing UO by this time so this whole era is lost to me. Look at the image of the GM in the thread. Willow's Wonderous Hot Pink Sceptre.

To start. Dog duped items are not allowed to be bought/sold on these forums.

There was an exploit several years ago that duplicated the graphics of many event items, but dropped the special name. The items are often referred to "doggy dupes" as the process involved an imprisoned dog. I have heard reports of some doggy dupes being deleted and others that haven't.
