Yep thats why I said in another post I think it is best to loot lightly and only take what you need to disarm a person or what you will actually use. I typically do not touch new players stuff. I mean most of them donlt have anything I want anyway.
I believe that will be a good way to go. If you don't need their suit, let them keep it. If farmers, looting their loot bag, resources, gold, they have gainded on their hunt won't hurt as much as looting their suit as alot players have hard replacing several suits a week. Remember you may not be the only one killing them.
I can see, if they are trying to PvP, the suit may be the only valuable on them and if they don't do some farming to get gold for the new suit, they may end up leaving after loosing some suits.
Also when trying to PvP, most will want to use a better suit, than for farming and not being able to keep it as their skills and PvP skill still may be low.
My advice to players, who want to try out PvP is to make a guild, set up rules for their guild and be sure to make them public. If a PvP guild is known for light looting, it may pay of, when they get looted.
I remember when J-D started here and later the Blackoak Brigands, they was both complaining, that they got looted alot and on same time, other guilds was complaining about their heavy looting. I tryed to explain to them, that if they was heavy looting their enemies, they would get heavy looted themself.
Both guild told me, they needed the loot as they died alot and did lose alot.
I told them to loot less and run less expensive gear as that would work better.
I believe that still will work. Also more will be willing to put up a fight against someone if they know, they won't lose everything.
I started a garg, with myst and shrowing and I can see, they can be a problem, as they won't have anything else than their suit of value. In old days, most at least had bandages, arrows, a regs or potions bag for the killer.
I think we really need a sticky guild thread here with main info about the guild.
