Not long ago, Poo started a thread concerning housing. Many posters shared some interesting thoughts on the subject.

One suggestion involved allowing those who want to add a second small house to their account to pay a slightly higher subscription fee. Another suggestion was to require a one-time payment. Another poster suggested paying a monthly fee in gold acquired in-game.

I've been thinking about those three options and trying to decide which method (if the idea is ever implemented) might be the best way to go for both players and Devs.

!. Giving the option to pay a slighly higher subscription fee may require a great deal of work since it would involve changes in the billing system. Adding the additional small house would be optional and not all players would choose the option. For that reason, I think accurate billing might prove to be a complicated process.

2. A one time payment for an additional small house could work like the High Seas booster or the theme packs currently offered. This wouldn't require any changes in the billing system.

3. For some players, paying montly with in-game gold might not be a hardship; however, not all players who may want an additional small house can realistically afford that option. Casual players might be happy to pay for another small house with cash, but may not play often enough to amass the gold to pay for it in-game.

In any case, I still think allowing players to add a very small additional house to their account would be a very good idea that many players would gladly pay for. And a one-tiime purchase, like a booster pack, seems to be the most efficent and logical way to do it. I'd gladly jump on the chance myself, even if it was more expensive than the High Seas booster.

Jeff, if you read this, I hope you will seriously consider the idea. Here's the original thread on the subject: http://vboards.stratics.com/uhall/257319-why-couldnt-we-do-multi-house-accounts.html

Oh I agree I like the idea... and I support it.

However I still say before that happens they need to fix one major issue with housing.

Allowing more co-owners. Houses currently have a max of 10. Which is silly since I can be now co-owned to 10 houses...... but each house can only have 10 co-owners.... raising this to 70 or more would be better.

You can have as many friends as that why not co-owners? Folk like myself with multiple accounts find it irritating to be stuck as a "friend" in my own house.

What would be ideal would be now that I've "linked" all my freaking accounts if the houses "knew" that and we were all "Owners".

But that's asking an awful lot. I just want to have more access to my home than my friends. As it is now my friends can't access my home at all beyond what the public can access.

THIS!! I hate not being able to friend more people to my houses just because I have security on my secures set to friends because I can't co-owner everyone on my other accounts.

I would also love to see the option available to place an up to two (maybe three) houses provided they are on seperate shards. I know it might not be a big deal on some of the less populated shards to allow mulitple houses per account on the same shard, but on shards like atlantic I think it could cause problems.

Maybe a whole housing expansion or booster? It would be nice to have some of the tile sets finished up maybe add some new flooring. I still think the best bet would be adding it as another monthly RL fee. I just think a one time fee is too small. Of course also a one time fee could lead to more bugged welcome to brit style houses. Its a good idea as is adding the ability to add more co-owners.

I'd like to see floor tiles for a round tower. They gave us the wall tiles to make round buildings but left out any way to add floors to them.

How about making all houses, no matter whether they are 7x7 or 18x18 have the same storage? I imagine many people would make smaller houses if all had the same storage. There would likely be less subdivisions of big box houses this way.

Could we get the option to build three or four floor story homes on any size plot?

Definitely agree! I don't see any logical reason why you can't have more co-owners.

Increasing storage makes a lot of sense, Tanivar. And I think we'd see a good deal of player creativity and variety in housing if this should happen. There are some lovely house spots that are never used simply because they won't support a large house footprint.
