This morning my virtues decayed, so I started my weekly chore of restoring them. I found 3 Honesty items on Fire Island and used Forensics to ID the owners, two in Trinsic and one in Moonglow. Since Glow is usually the easier place to find people in, I went there first. Glow happens to be my loyalty city so I decided to arrest some riotors while roaming the city. After about 15 minutes of searching (and arresting 5 riotors), I couldn't find Ashleigh so I decided to just box drop the item. When doing so, I received a message that the item was not an honesty item. I checked the remaining two items and they were ok (and I was able to return them to the correct people in Trinsic quickly).
I am wondering if it is possible that a combination of the two systems (Honesty and City Loyalty) can cause issues. Since the protestors and riotors seem to come from the same NPC pool as the losers (item losers), did the item lose the Honesty status due to an arrest? Has anybody else seen something similar?
All of this took place within a 45-50 minute window, so the 3 hour timer should not have come into play.
