Unpleasant Folks indeed. Although I must admit I do miss the dangers of old, say the wrong thing to the right person and they follow you out of town, kill you and take all your stuff. This seems more annoying and rude then any thing else though.

How do you sir, propose people check runes without actually recalling into the location? I think it is quite obvious to people to make sure their items are insured before going to Fel. If they don't...well that is rather like asking to be robbed in some way or another.

However, marking runes and the advertising a "new vendor mall" with highly desired items and then dropping them all over Atl, specifically in areas where new members congregate is absolutely pathetic.

This isn't the first time this particular guild has done this and I seriously doubt it will be the last. I think it is rather pathetic that a so called "pvp" guild is that desperate to kill people that they would stoop down to this level.

My advice would be this. Grow up and get a life and learn how to fight so you don't have to house hide and worse, bait innocent people.

Yes, the location is on the rune. However, there are vendors in Fel. At one time there was an awesome vendor who sold popular items for very cheap. I believe the owners name was Red Beard Joe or something similiar. He did not advertise his shop so he could get groups of pk'ers there to harrass people.

There have also been other reputable vendor shops in Fel. What this guild did was take advantage of the fact that people would want to check out a new mall.
If it had been marked "at your own risk" or something of that nature it would have been a little different.

The main issue is how pathetic it is to have to lure unsuspecting people to Fel to get kills, and then turn around and make excuses for it by saying things like "they should check their armor for being insured" or, "should check your runes" That doesn't excuse the poor sportsmanship.

Your kidding right? you dont know how to tell if a rune is a fel rune or a tram rune....You really are a trammy...I will not respond to you after this because you and your guild are a bunch of trammies that are trying to zerg. I will fight any 2 of you at once and smash you.

I'm not condoning the behavior of those people, but common sense does suggest that any rune that has been marked in Felucca should be traveled to "at your own risk".
As far as sportsmanship...you get some that are reds and honorable when it comes to things like that, and then you get some that are all about the gank-pk-trash-talking. If you go to fel, you should expect to meet both kinds...those who have a good sense of sportsmanship and those that are just there to get counts.

Too bad that this may give the legit vendor shops in Fel a bad rap

Um...this isn't at all what she said. Of course she knows how to tell if a rune is for fel/tram. She's commenting on the deceptive tactics, e.g., titling fel runes "Great Vendors! Cheap Stuff" and dismount/all killing whoever recalls off the rune.

Dismount/all kill is always your guys' tactics. Who're the real trammies?

Foul, why don't you tell Lady Kero why you don't help the new players ? Could it possibly have to do with the fact that *gasps" you were involved? (Just a question....not pointing fingers) I might add, since when have you ever been able to kill 1v2? You should remember that your guild hasn't beat ours once....

There has been a rather inventive PKer who would title his runes "Great Stuff! Cheap! (Add your own highly desired items here), Not in (Felucca)"

He'd put the "Not" before the tag for Felucca. Pretty inventive. Nonetheless, every time I see his runes, I destroy them, but I got a chuckle nonetheless.

Don`t recall directly off any rune randomly placed on the ground.
If you`re a mage,,,cast a gate.If the rune says not in fel but the gate is red
you can be assured a gank awaits you on the other side.
If you`re not a mage,simply place the rune in a runebook and look at its writings color.Light green indicates a fel location.Once again if its touting a non-fel location in it`s writing but is light green you can bet on several people right at the recall spot looking like this waiting for someone to pop in right on their poison feild to feed to their greater dragon.If it`s you it may make you look like this or so when picking up random runes be more like not and you`ll be instead of .Thats all for now,,i think i`m gunna go

I had a blast last night foiling plans for the people who use the fel rune trick (it was SLAP this time). Around 9pm, I saw a bunch of the runes laying all over the place. I picked ALL of the runes up, around very moongate and every town. I let the gankers sit there for awhile to waste their time, put most of them in the garbage (had about 40), and then got naked and recalled in with about 10 in my pack. of course they killed me but I informed them their game was over, all their runes were gone.

I was on the lookout for anymore runes all night, and at around midnight, they began to drop more. So I again picked all of them up (got everyone again), but this time just threw them away. Two of them even confronted me about it. I was even stealthed behind one of the people dropping, picking them up as soon as he dropped them. Foiled again.

I logged off around 2am but I don't suspect they dropped any after.

Roflao!! what would be funnier is if they paged a gm on you!! (I wouldn't put it past them)...

the page to the gm would look like this:

"I'm trying to drop runes on the ground to advertise a noob gank fest, and this guy keeps picking them up. How can we go use the drop insured items exploit if he keeps picking up our runes. It is affecting our playstyle to grief and violate the eula by picking up these runes so no noobs will recall. If you don't do anything about this I am going to tell my mommy!"

It's funny when ya recall in and hide and a dragons owns all 6 of em... guess you shouldn't stage such event on a small island where ya can't flee... oh btw! It was really funny watching all yer ooOOoOOo's...

One more thing for the lowlife's doing this to noobs... there is a new guild hunting these morons, and it's pretty funny to see... hopefully they'll send me some screenies to post.
