High Seas Booster - Lovin' It!

• Bought the activation code for the booster pack last night, worked without a problem.
• Server went down as announced, and when they were back up I immediately logged on and sailed to the Sea Market.
• Smooth sailing is beautiful and great!
• Bought a Tokuno Ship, three ship dyes and a rowboat (not sure what I actually need the rowboat for).
• Salpeter was already camped and bought empty, but thanks to Mesanna now 4 alchemists can be found at the Sea Market. Give it a couple of days and enough salpeter will be available for everyone.
• Grabbed my GM fisherman and did two fishing quests, fishing up many of the new fish. The plan is to cook some of the new fish stews.
• Still have to figure out where to get a 120 fishing scroll.
• Crafted 4 light cannons and mounted them on the vessel.

There still are a few minor issues, but this booster is one of my favorite game expansions. Together with the treasure hunting revamp (and the hopefully upcoming MIB improvements) a lot of adventure has been added to UO without adding another new landmass. Well done! Continue to improve the game in such a way!

Aye....enjoying the booster also. So far no major glitches that keep me from playing.


I do have an issue with the Lobster Traps---The wait time is just way toooooo long and it gets booring as heck. I am doing the quest that requires 10 Crusty Lobsters and after many frustrating hours of setting and waiting for lobster traps--I have not got one crusty lobster. And the loss rate on the traps seems way too high, but they are cheep enough. I hope the reward is worth all the time it is going to take to fill this quest.

I made my purchase this morning, but was at work all day. I was able to patch when I got home and sailed to the Market and picked up a new ship. So far all is working smoothly for me. Of course I have not spent more then 35 40 minutes playing so far.

  Really? We don't have any extra Alchemist on Napa. Its nearly impossible to get Saltpeter.

  What shard are you on? Mesanna only gave us 2 extra ones on GL so we only have 3 not enough.......cant do any pirate hunting and we dont want to try to spawn scalis without a buttload of cannon supplies ready.

Catskills. We have 4 Alchemists by the Sea Market and they still are camped. This may only be a temporary issue though.

The main problem is that you need 6 salpeter to make Black Powder. Too much!

1 or 10 alchemists doesnt matter ... the result is the same .... zero salpeter for the majority.

this salpeter issue makes the booster a fail ... in my eyes its the most important thing in this booster
yes you can do corgul in meanwhile and fish new fisch ... wow


even if you would have 5 personal alchemists, just for you ..... it needs to long to gather a usable amount at this spawn rate
