Hiding question

Time to make a new thief on my new account! My question is can you train hiding in your house or does it need to be outside of your house?

If you speak with other players playing, please to make macro space bar. Space bar will be used many times while in location of people. Good gains can be made this way.

I just jam a peice of paper in my F1 key and let it run non stop. I just need to know whether I can park my butt in my house and work it normally, or at a bank and work it normally.

Just tape down your hiding macro and play guitar and watch gains come.

You will need to be outside your house. I believe you will always hide when your in your house

Yeah. Being in your house gives hiding, at any level, 0 difficulty. As its a difficulty-based skill, you wont gain squat in your house.

if thats what you are wanting to do i would buy a boat and just do 8x8 to gain, with a decent UOA macro you should be ok, personally though you will get more satisfaction gaining through Play, Touzoko's suggestion works very well, also if training stealth you can get hiding gains while training stealth too i believe as it makes a hiding check when you stealth

Nope, they took out the coding that caused it to work, although breaking 8x8 was a side-effect, not the reason for the change. I have to confess my memory is struggling to recall the reason for the change, sorry.

Just find a remote spot in a remote town where you can macro away in peace and relative quiet.

I always prefered the library in Occolo...la
