:) Thanks.
I am looking forward to going up there to see the lil tyke, but I will wait
till his mom, is done being up there, so I have to wait a few wks. Besides 2 mothers underfoot would drive my son in law nuts ! lol

But I will bring a ton of new *big brother* toys, for my 1st grandson, the 3 yr. old :)
Lil Ethan looks like he was not in the mood to be bothered to be born yet. ;)

Congratz to you and your kids!

Now don´t forget to stable him for a week so he can bond... :p
LOL
They probably should stable Ethan for a week till he bonds.

Just in case my 3 yr. old grandson, is um as clever as maybe I was at 2 yrs. old.

At 2 yrs of age, I tried to cast hidden on 'the lil newb' nuisance,
via gently tucking my kid brother, under a bunch of clothes in a laundry basket,
thinking maybe everyone would forget kid brother
had come into our/my lives.

Unfortunately, kid brothers have 'magical powers'.. of newb cryings
making our parents legendarily skilled, at detecting hidden.

I'll be bringing tons of prezzies,
for newbie Ethan and especially for Erik, my 3 yr. old firstborn grandson,
cuz us bossy 'firstborns', just gotta stick together ! :)

Even my daughter and her husband, both, are the *babies* of their familes.
So they will not fathom what lil Erik may be going thru with 'a newb' in the house. :)

Yeh all my 3 were um natural, even my twins, but then I am a natural, sorta gal.
Heck even my twins were, 7 and 6 pounders, *big* for 2 babies there.
And she, 3rd baby was no puny runt either, @ 9 pounds plus.

She did have a c section, I didn't ask why, cuz, it's none of my business.
Not the way I'd go about birthing, but whatever ! :)
I am glad both of them, are so far, doing ok post birthing.

Well, sometimes we don't get to call the shots about how we're gonna go about birthing. Mine was head up instead of head down... I guess maybe she didn't get a good look at the map before trying to make her exit. In any case, they had to go in and get her! Neither she, nor I, had a choice! :p

LOL

Well see if ya had twins, like my first born,
the upside down one just kicks the other one out
then does a flip flop summersault,
to also arrive head first, just 3 mins later,
after he kicked his sleepin' twin sister, out of his way ! :)

Guess my son; called the shots that go round !

:D

Both newborn and mom are home now, & doing ok, not counting the hormone crash that 'my' baby is having :) while her mother-in-law is stayin there, underfoot, helping out for [4 full wks.]

I will get to hug them, and provide 'silly fun times', when *I* get to go up there,
being the nuttier more laidback, mon/grandma, that I am. :)

I agree Bruce 2 should be plenty, when ya think ahead to 2 kids to buy maybe dental braces for, 2 kids to insure as newb drivers, 2 highschool graduations to pay for, class rings, etc. etc. cuz kids get lots more expensive for us, as teenagers. :)

Course in my own case, I got 2 kids [one of each gender] at the get go first time around.

I just wanted to know what it feels like to HUG and LOVE only ONE baby at a time, like normal folks,
get to do. :) So I went for trying one more pregnancy, and hoped to God that it was only ONE baby that time ! *it was.* Tis baby girl makin me the grandma.

I may have 'traumatised' the first borns more, with my *PLANNED parenthood sermons* always sayin to my own 3 kids, as they were preteens and teens, you each may posssess the TWIN GENE too, do 'not' make me a grandma too soon or your one baby oopsy, just might be 2 at a time. The older twins, are still chicken, to try for having 'a' child. :)

Some parents will keep tryin and tryin though, til they maybe get both genders of kids, but 2 is plenty $$$$ to afford downline be they boys only, or girls only, or one of each !
My sister in law had kept on trying for a girl, ended up with 4 sons and then finally, hung it up.
A couple at my church kept trying for a son but, got 5 daughters, then said forget it !
