Has anyone ever had this happen? I was putting an item on it in luna and suddenly it just poofed..All the money I ever made in 7 yrs of playing UO was on that vendor..I paged a gm and I'm 13 in queue.

no it was set to auto renew and I've had the same vendor for almost a year

Check the house sign, atleast that's where I got my stuff+money back when mine dropped.

Thanks so much guys! I checked the house sign and was able to collect my stuff/gold.. I know my vendor did poof in front of my eyes, why I dunno. I had 4 people come and check and see that there was indeed an empty spot where my vendor once sat. Even the house owner was just as stumped as I because he said the contract had just renewed Saturday. No more storing gold on my vendor! wow I think I just had a minor heart attack!
Had the same happening with my Vendor on Europa about two years ago. I know, the contract could not have been canceled by house owner, since the house owner wasn't active ingame since several month. The vendor had also enough gold to renew, as claiming from the house sign did reveal. But while refilling he went away as well.
Unfortunately I could not reestablish the vendor due to the inactivity of the house owner.

I had someones vendor in my house do that. He still thinks I canceled it but really IDK what happened.

It still poofs if there isnt enough gold on it.
Did you have gold checks waiting for you? Just curious how much was on the vendor because if it was loaded something ups.
I just cleared my vendors and you cant get rid of them if they have something on them or they are holding gold.
Ah well. Maybe the contract was accidently changed.

Arrrr, me does know that the vendor will go to house sign if the contract attempts ta renew when the house is in any state of decay, even like new.

Yeah I had plenty of gold to cover vendor fees.. 465 mil to be exact, every penny I had was on that vendor which would explain my minor heart attack earlier when I thought all was lost. I still don't know what happened..one minute I was putting spellbooks on it and the next minute it was gone.
