Im not sure about this tammer stuff, does any skilled tammer out there know what the max resiststances are on a beetle>? can they be Gmed and whats the highest level of poison and eval can a beetle have> stuff like that?

Yeah, sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but that's where I always look it up.

Use the hunter's guide as your basis. The resistances stay the same when a pet is tamed. You loose a pecentage of the max stats and max skills over 100.

Thanks again, I was looking at it and that did actually kinda confuse me, so the resistences vary then after you tame it, so tame a bunch of them and see which one is really good and keep that one?

what are u looking for in a beetle and knigtmare and dog, resistances or skills?

You don't have to tame them to check the resists and stats. Unless its one of the monsters that get their stats cut, but there are only a few of those.

Personnally Elmer I look for resistances as you can train up the skills. If your skills are lower you just have to train them up more is all. Also look at the hit points/ strength and stuff like that.

Not sure this is 100% correct - I copied it many moons ago..

A quick list of how your pets could spawn maxed out:
Mare - hits 315, str 525, resists 65/40/40/40/30
WW - hits 456, dex 130, int 425, str 760, resists 70/25/90/50/50
Rune - hits 360, dex 170, int 450, str 465, resists 56/50/50/60/95, resist, mage, eval and poison all spawn over GM.
Hiryu - (wild stats) Hits 1100, Stam 270, Str 1410, resists 70/90/25/50/50 wrestle &amp; tactics both spawn over GM
Kitsune - hits 350, stam 145, int 425, str 220, resists 60/90/60/60/60

my beetle has 125.0 poisoning and 108eval?

I know max for eval is like 112.5 or something... cause all skills get cut by a % when GM'd I noticed by around 1/2

my beetle also has 164 dex... high str and good resists 90%poison i think

my beetles fully trained with everything else except for magery which i think is around 93..
