Help! My mousehole is gone....

Hi,
since I am just moving houses I was redeeding and axing most of my deco items.
I tried to doubleclick the mousehole but nothing happened so I used an axe on it, I get the usual you destroy the item message but no deed appears in my pack (not in moving crate either). Any idea or way to help?

well, since it was in deed form to begin with I did the usual: doubleclick it - nothing... next thing was to use an axe and pooof - it was gone and no deed.
I had an GM show up (in under 30 minutes btw) and he tells me that it is not safe to use an axe on an object to redeed it and if I want it to be safe in the future I should send in a report on the herald.
After this the usual thing that they cannot replace lost things and if I cannot find the object anymore there is nothing that can be done, etc....
Cannot find the object??? It is gone, invisible.
I ask him if he has a way of checking and he says he wished he had and goodbye....

i'm thinking use axe to re-deed, just as you did
log out/in see if deed appears in backpack,

You wouldnt have happened to have had any of the npc' camps near by that side of the house would you? I know they are off atm but IF you did, you might have had the spawn hit the mouse hole like it did the rugs and other items that were effected by them.

I was helped by a GM, on 1 castles fixing of the rugs but that stopped when I found more. You might be out of luck if thats the case.

I have two mouse holes and they both tell me that there is something in them for the last two+ years (thus they can't be used).

Sounds like they might be be all-around broken in general.

Maybe it was the squeeker IN the mouse hole that was preventing its??Use??

by the by ...IF the gm's said they couldn't replace nothing ...
or that nothing could be replaced ...

Well, all I can say is: dont use an axe on your mouse holes cause it will perma-destroy them. But to be honest, I dont see what I have done wrong.
No NPC camps where I live btw...
I also beleive they are not in this years reward list because they had problems with them (I checked after my trouble and found that other people have had similar issues).
Now I have to find where I can submit something through the herald.....

I moved mine recently (before the latest clean-up removed them from the list) and they re-deeded fine.
I did hear others say they were getting deleted when axed though so I haven't touched mine since.

glad i caught this I was just getting ready to remodel my house some. So how do we put them back in deed form? and mine never would go against the wall it sock out 1 tile and blocked movement. damn thing never worked right from the start ha...

also i took an axe to my sacrifice alter wellll I guess i sacrificed it it went poof I really wish they would make things standard all things that are in deed from axe to put back in deed form

I used an axe, but since people are losing there's I wouldn't recommend it.
