There is a bug with the battle chicken lizard.
Whem i hatch the egg the chicken appears for an half of second then disappears. It happens with all my battle chicken lizard eggs. I've read the forum and i've seen that it is not only a problem of mine. Many other players have the same problem.
I've tryed to report the bug but there is only a feedback page. I don't kown how to report this bug.

I don't think this is a bug. It happened to me several times then I figured out what is going on. The battle chicken is wild so it gets removed from your house. Hatch them outside but have the collar ready. Since discovering they get removed from my house I have hatched and tamed several. Hope this helps. :)

If you hatch chicken lizard eggs in a private building, the hatched chicken lizards will always be ejected from the house and end up under the house sign. The battle chicken lizards have the same speed as vorpal bunnies, though, so once they are out of the house it's very difficult to catch up with them again. Regular chicken lizards move much slower and you generally won't have any trouble catching up to them outside the house if you hatch them in a private house.

Your best bet for successfully taming battle chicken lizards is to hatch the eggs on a small island or in a small completely closed room in a public building. If you hatch them inside a building, you probably need to make sure the room doesn't have teleporter pads in it. You can also have your tinker make a scale collar and put that on the untamed battle chicken lizard to help slow it down, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

Thank you, Tina Small, but i already have 2 battle chicken lizard and i know how the process works. I've always hatched the eggs in my house, the chicken was stopped about 3, 4 seconds and i had the time to use the collar.
Now the chicken disappears immediately. And it doen't go under the sign post of the house. It disappears completly.
It's not normal.

I hatched a black battle chicken this afternoon in my public house in a closed off room without incident this was on Sonoma.

I also hatched a battle chicken with no problem today. Like Tina said your safest option is using a small room in a city, Britain or New Haven for example.

I don't know what to tell you, Ivory. I hatched one today as well. It might have been a bit zippier than previous ones, but it had nowhere to go and I was able to tame it in the end.

Then, it means that I was lucky to put the collar at the 2 last chicken hatched in my home ( a castle and the chichen are in the higher tower )?
But i tamed 2 of them here!!
Ok, now i'll try into a close room.
It's better in a private house or in a town?
Be patience ....
