Which shard will you be playing on? I'm mostly on LS, and you can pm me for help to get started, and insurance to cover your losses when you die... which you will.

Do you like PvP, Factions or PvM, or perhaps crafting? UO has one of the best crafting systems available anywhere. You should actually try a bit of everything, but if you have a stated preference, someone here will certain get you pointed in the right direction.

I had a couple of questions about UO. I was just wondering what the gameplay is like? We all know graphics does not make a good game soley on its own

About your question. The gameplay is...

• Very versatile (you can do extremely many different things, see my signature)
• Quite complex, if you want to figure out details
• Entertaining, as there are so many things you can do
• Difficult to learn for a newcomer
• Stable and good performance (if you exclude the low frame rate you have with the Classic Client)
• More restricted than it used to be (especially in Trammel, where literally every possibility to grief another player has been eliminated, which limits the freedom of gameplay also massivley)
• Somewhat too much focused on items
• Not enough adventure-driven (also due to the importance of items)
• Accompanied by the feeling that UO's potential has not been fully tapped (especially when you find so many interesting places in Britannia with no function at all)

And this is a troll. She's entitled to her opinion, but she basically says the same things over and over again, every chance she gets. In my opinion UO is still the best MMO I've ever played. Is it perfect? Of course not, but I don't think there is an MMO out there with the depth of game play that UO has to offer.

It isn't level based and there is room for just about every MMO playstyle you could possibly imagine.
