Hello All,

I'm thinking of coming back to UO and I'm thinking of making some characters on this shard. I currently have characters on Lake Austin but I'm in the mood for a change and I hear this is the most populated shard. Can anyone help me and give me an idea on what is going on on this shard such as where is the hotspot (Luna or Britain), are champ spawns quite active and popular, and how the community is? Looking forward to hearing good things.

Well Britain is one of the hotspots here so is luna

Champspawns are active too so ecpect to be raided if you start one

other then that there is many guilds that do peerless hunts and loads of RP stuff going on if your into that.

by economie what do you mean? RL gold value? not much 1 $$ i think

Stuff available LOADS, go check the big malls on the shard , and you can still find lots of great shops with great prices outside of Luna too

I try to stay away from gold selling if at all possible. I'm talking more about prices for scrolls, items, and other things. I'm thinking it's gonna be a little hard for me at first since i plan on making a mage/tamer to start with...or a T-hunter/Tamer. Either way Magery will be involved so there is regs or LRC (which is probably the best way to go), so i have to get the money to get that which shouldn't be too difficult *crosses fingers*. I'm just wondering what the economy is like on that end.

Thank you very much for the offer...i may take you up on it. I plan on reopening my account this evening for a month and If i like it I'll stay on. My first character on Atlantic is looking to be an Elf Necromancer. I was planning on having the following skills.

100 Necromancy
120 Spirit Speak
100 Spellweaving
100 Meditation

That gives me 420 so I have another 300 points to use up (I have a 4 year vet account) I was thinking Magery/EvalInt but I'm not sure because that seems like it could be very costly and time consuming. I know I can't use spellweaving until i complete either of the quests (maybe someone could help me do it or I'll have to wait until I'm more powerful) I was thinking of making a necro/tamer (I love necromancy) but I love the idea of having a magic wielding dark elf who is very evil. I'm not sure but if i do a necro/tamer it will be like this

100 Necromancy
120 Spirit Speak
120 Animal Taming
110 Animal Lore
100 Veterinary
100 Meditation

Which would leave me 70 points. I need a lot of help in deciding what would be a good first character for this shard. Down the road I'll probably transfer over my Treasure Hunter/Bard. Also I may be wrong but I hear stat see-saw was back in...is this true?

Also what are the champ spawns like on this shard? Are they active at all cause back a few years ago that was my FAVORITE thing to do. I want to try and find a shard/guild that does them on a regular basis. What I mean by this is I know they are active but how active can they be? Are they something that is done a lot or are they more casual here and there type spawns. On LA (from what i gathered) only 2 guilds do champ spawns there. I want a shard that does a lot of them and is very active in Felucca (I have a thief on siege so i will be playing there too).

Oh ant btw what are these dread warhorses I keep hearing about? Are they a new tamable or something like the greater dragons?

Made my new character today, A necro/tamer. Name is Erana. I'm going to try it out for a while and see how it goes. Started off in New Haven and it seemed nice. A few people around. Now I just have to get my stats up then start working on the rest of my skills.

You do not need a powerful character to complete the spellweaving quest. As long as you contribute to the damage on the quest critters they count towards your quest. So, take someone along that can help with heals and is fighting. Get the first few hits in, then let them help you finish the critter off.

I've done the quest a few times now to get myself and a couple friends through. I've mapped out the actual combat part with screenies, if you're interested I'll post them here or perhaps the quest forum would be better. Let me know and I'll dig em up.

Could someone point me in the direction of where i could find a good guild. I'm REALLY thinking of moving over my bard/t-hunter to this shard and I want to find a guild that not only does champ spawns but also would go out on t-hunts, do peerlesses, and PvP. Any place that you can find guilds recruiting?

I said screw it and transfered my tamer over. I hate raising taming. Name is Alec Marek. Anyone know of a good location to place a house or if there are even any locations on this shard?
