havent been around for awhile, a few questions

hey i wanna try arcanist. just a few quick ones
1) do you have to be an elf todo arcanist?
2)does evaluate int effect arcanist damage/mods
3)should i switch my bard mage over or my bard tamer over?

3) I guess that would be a personal choice, I run SW on my tamer from time to time.

3. Either/or. Both are incredibly effective. I run a bard with 120 music/provoke/discord/magery/meditation/weaving and I don't think I'll ever go back to having EI on that character. My wife (before she quit) had a tamer with taming/vet/lore/magery/meditation/weaving. Again, it's very effective to have weaving with pets, but she used different spells with her pets as I used with my ogre lords. When you get the two characters together, they're almost unstobbable by anything that isn't a Travesty.
