Apparently, fishing powerscrolls are rewards from the fishmongers. I think they are based on some kind of point system.

Ugh.. The fishmonger quests are RNG nightmares.

You're doing it wrong then. I've set up a Fishers Co-op. I have some crates in a house, set to anyone, all marked with what sort of fish/crab/lobster are in em. There's a group of us who put what we catch in and take out what we need for quests. Rewards are our own. Works pretty good.

Credit for the idea goes to Petra, who set up the same system for us on the beta :)

I spent a few hours fishing and stocked up on the fish.

It is the best way to get what you need in a second and you can sell them in bulk of 10 if you want to make some gold.

I talked to a reputable Napa player who had heard from another replutable player, that he had received a 105 Fishing PS from the fishmonger yesterday morning.

Again, its just hearsay. I'm on quest #8 no PS so far. This #8 is a pain in the butt because its the same fish it just asked for on the last quest.

Ok I did soemthing crazy when we was doing those Ricardo quests. I do them everyday but I noticed soemthing. If you stood in certain places it seemed I got the cloaks and tailsman more then other places. May have been a crazy RNG thing but I got a ton of the good loot. Now the spot varied each day so wasnt the same spot everyday. So was trial and error.

So I tried this with bods. I noticed if I stood in a certain place and the smith was in a certain place I get better bods. Ok again could of been crazy RNG thing happening. Just weird that it worked when I did the quests and the bods. So maybe try standing in different places around the quest guy when turning them in may help :thumbup1:

Totally RNG weirdness. This is you finding a pattern where none exists. It's what we do. The DEVs would have to program a location that gives better results. They'd have to code it moving around. This is much more complex than simply rolling a die. As for the power scrolls. Just wanted to point out that power scrolls aren't mentioned in the Patch Notes. If I'm missing them someone please correct me.

That sounds really nice actually, I think I'll suggest the idea to my alliance. Doubt it will be a public box though... Too many griefers on production shards that would just ruin it for everyone :(

You need to put the fish bank in a top secret location then. :p

LOL!! It was more of an RNG thing . I kept telling myself though dont forget that spot. Kind of like when you found a hot spot to to get skill gains when you did the old 8x8 method. I was lucky and got a ton of PoF bods with my crazy idea even though it was the RNG.

To ruin other ones fish collections, you probably only need to cut them all up into fish steaks. (But its only a guess from me ... I have yet to cut up my first of the new fishes.)

Given the amount of fish in the collection, there's a damned good chance one of us would catch them at it LONG before they got done.

It's sad that there's griefers out there, but they're an unfortunate fact of life, both real and UO. It has to be said that if this happened, I would simply switch a few things round and start again.

Without the darkness, we cannot see the light. And without the complete arses, we wouldn't appreciate the good folks nearly so much as we do. If I think about it in those terms, then I'm not tempted, in the slightest, to hunt them down and administer a little attitude adjustment :p
