Are ya'll ready for the big day? Baking sourdough bread and sweet potato casserole here today - our contributions for the big feast at my Granny's tomorrow. Looking forward to a few days out of town - visiting family and eating too much yummy food.

We already had Thanksgiving once when our oldest daughter was here past 2 wks. I was kinda hoping ...........I would not have to make it all ...all over again for just us two. LOL

But I married a Saggitarius TURKEY... I have to make Thanksgiving all over again for him tomorrow........and his birthday cake !



I am thankful we're still alive and kickin to get to hang out together and that we still have one another, after all these decades of being married to each other.

Falon - I'd be happy to share some starter... It has "spread" all over my county, and is supposed to be from a line of starter over 250 years old. I don't know about all that... but it makes good bread!

QZ - your Jack Daniels sweet potatoes sounds scary... and good! You and your "turkey" have a special day.

At Granny's there will be two pans of dressing ... one with oysters and one without.
