Well I spent St. Patrick's Day 'planting the green' !
Last year's gardening ended up a total failure with flooding drowning my perfectly 2.5 ft healthy tomato plants, followed by new plantings of everything, that got stuck with the aftermath flooding, followed by a 7 mo. draught !

Hope THIS year's gardening turns out better, what with higher fuel and FOOD prices looming, on us all.
It was 65+ degrees yesterday, the sun was shining the birds were chirping, NO UO at all for me yesterday, opted to spend the entire day outside, getting my gardens ready for gardening & planting stuffs, and getting seedlings going, for the gardens.
Got the tomatos and peppers started, the root crops like carrots and beets started, beans, peas, lettuce, herbs, onions, cukes and bokchoy, some flowers, all got started on my St. Patty's day here.
Heck I even planted cotton, yesterday !
And of course, due to the warm weather for our St. Patrick's Day, lots of frisbee tossing with the Shelties yesterday, too.
UO was NOT even, on my agenda yesterday !
*adds* Course with all this UO talkin bout lookin for hoes in Magincia ... I did spend the better part of early morning yesterday tryin to find our hoe !

I even asked hubby WHERE IS OUR HOE ? Found the rakes, found the shovels. Cant find our hoe ! He says... We have a HOE ?

I say where ya hiding the hoe, I need the hoe, to get the garden going !
