I take it you don't mean the Black Eyed Peas of I Got a Feeling fame....so where is peas and cabbage a thing? *intrigued*
I live in The USA (The GREAT state of Texas!). We were always told to eat Black Eyed Peas and Cabbage on January 1st, to insure wealth and prosperity for the coming year.
