Have we really been playing this game for 13 years? :popcorn:

It seems just like yesterday that someone put two water tiles on each side of my house then sailed a ship into my house and stole all my goods!!

Can I have my 13 year vet reward now?

Or just give me back my 5 houses on one account since you guys dropped em 9 days early!! :sad2:

That's the most I've ever been ticked off and jilted by the game in 13 years, so I guess it's been a pretty good run!

Wonderful HAppy Birthday UO and The original OSI group where ever you. The bad part about it all is the now existant dev's and designers have either forgotten or do not care about there own product that they work on everyday and support! Kinda like one of us forgetting our spouse's birthday not a good thing to let happen !! TADOW !!

Years ago we were a 3-generation family playing UO. Still are, just less playing...
My sister's daughter started in her teens, my sister and my parents played.

It’s always been funny when I talk in game about my Mom or Dad and then I get "kid" comments towards me. I’d just laugh and tell em, umm I’m 30+ Mom and Dad are in their 50’s. The best was when some pkiddie was smack talking my Mom and kept calling her a punk azz kid.

My Dad now 71 still plays this game every day. Mom still likes to work but she’s setup just out of arms reach and still logs some serious game time. Yeah there used to be some physical abuse towards each other when one of them died, rofl!! It’s hilarious hearing some 60’s 70’s year olds yelling where the H*ll was my heal?!!?

I hope I can be enjoying this game or a new version of it in my 70's!

Wow.

Wish I were smart enough to cut that music and chest opening scene out of the CD and just keep em to play once in a while. Always meant excitement was on the way when ya heard it! Yeah, think it would be really cool if they could bring that back, but I doubt we ever see it.

Sad enough the players are sayin Happy Birthday UO, heh, but no Mythic peeps remember? Other than a comment by Cal the other day, I havent seen anything. :sad3:

Agreed. Maybe my memory is faulty but I could have sword that they said they were going to celebrate it somehow...? Ah, well.

:thumbup1:Wasn't it Mesanna, at the town hall, that they had every thing all taken care of for UO's 13th birthday? Guess they were more concerned with getting thier booster out or they can't do 2 things at same time. No Devs or EMs did anything that I know of. :confused:

Four things posted on the Herald last week, two of them on Friday...One of those being a producer's letter on Thursday.

None of them mentioned the 13th Anniversary, not even a passing reference.

They said they had something planned. I think we now know what that was: Apathy.

I am surprised, though, especially when at the TownHall Meeting I seem to understand that UO's 13th birthday was mentioned.

Why then let it pass in silence ? I do not understand.

I think it'll just be a little late like most years.
Recently, one of Mesanna's player friends asked me and several guildies for ideas to forward to her as she had asked him. So, idk, we'll see~~

Mesanna been asking since at least May, but I don't think the decision is hers to make.

Cal is the one who owes us some sort of explanation for giving us yet another vapid song and dance.

Its not like they didn't know this was coming, or didn't have a whole year to plan something small, or make a cutsey graphic for the Herald. Just acknowledging it on time for once would have gone a long way.

... or that James the 'Community Guy' won't even touch it and he was on Stratics earlier today.

It just annoys me that we are always told how the team are intent on improving things like communication... and we always find ourselves back to square one with them. I don't get it, it's baffling.
