Halloween???

I dont usually post on here but I'm a little irritated at the lack of "Halloween" this year. Are there ANY plans to do ANYTHING?? Sure, we got a Messanna black dyed jack o' lantern, which is kool looking. I say just release all the past "monsters" from past Halloweens! Invade all the cities! No holds barred!
Seems the 13th anniversary and Halloween got put on the back burner for the new booster pack. It's already Oct 26th.

Halloween is 1 day every year, however on that note Halloween and 13th anny items are suppose to be released on Thursday October 28 and active through November 15th

Anniversary stuff released in September is almost like my state getting a budget in on time - ain't gonna happen until the second Tuesday past the end of the world.

Sorry Cal ... and trust me ... missing anniversaries in UO is not just the current regime nor even the immediate predecessors. Admittedly not seeing anny stuff within a few days of anniversary is one of the consistent things about UO! <shrug>

I'm just gonna put on the retardant suit and see we did "see" stuff for the ani, we just didn't get stuff for the ani, like on the day of.

What we saw, what we did get, was the RTB program which allowed those of us who actually have real live friends who used to play this game come back and stomp around in group and test stuff so they could get sucked in again *evil chuckle* and that part worked.

If anyone is taking notes it would sure have been nice if referrals were revamped in a meaningful way. Or let us unbless blessed items somehow so they could be imbued (like the lucky necklace) or unraveled (like maybe most any of the 7th ani items.)

Just waiting for the other annual traditions... two days after the holiday, a handful of players will be griping about "Why is the [Insert Holiday Name Here] event running so long?! It is over already in RL, so end it now in UO!".

Then of course later that week a handful of players will be griping about how "the [Insert Holiday Name Here] event ended too soon! I missed it because [Insert Annual Excuses Here]!".

Anyone want to take the bet that it won't happen?
