The new begging items are not to bad compared to last couple of years. But as for the quest so far, the book of truth?? are you serious?? That is the biggest waste of a quest so far. I have not done the bane chosen quest yet, so can't say anything about if it is worth it or not, but the hell hound is about worthless as well. Yea u get a bloody sash out of it, but it does nothing. Compared to even the last 2 years, when we had the liches that gave nice items that people still use to this day, and last years essence quest that gave us garbs that we still use.. But a bloody sash with no mods and a book of truth?? Just my opinion, but i am very dissapointed in this years items.

Take a hell hound from near the ancient wyrm lair(overland one) in ilsh drag the beast to the lair, give it the treat, hide, let the wyrm do the dirty work. Make sure you hit a few times to get rights.

try similar tactics, like drag one from spirituality to the meer city and have it eat the town... or oaks spawn level three owns it too.
